My communication style

Communication is an essential part of therapy, whether it's verbal or through expression. I tend to be more gentle in my body language and with my tone, not just how I speak, but the words I choose. I encourage direct and open communication because clarity is always kind.

My journey to mental healthcare

I started my path to becoming a therapist when I was fairly young. I myself started therapy when I was a teen and always found that talking about what was happening gave me the strength to face the challenges in life. I graduated from Adler Graduate School in 2020 and have worked in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and groups.

My goals for you

In therapy, goals are important give us guideposts and markers for when things get better. When we see the polar ends of the continuum of our problems as either "fixed or broken," we cannot see all the shades of our experiences for what they truly are. Expect to set reasonable steps that we can measure towards goals that can be lofty or grounded.

Our first session

Knowing that first sessions can feel daunting, I want to make sure there's enough time and space for you to ask what you need or want to know before we start. I like to go over expectations we can set for each other, along with table setting for things that may come up in the session. There's always a bit of getting to know each other first!
