I love that my work is to empower, enlighten, support, and assist in growth for a more positive tomorrow. I provide a comfortable, safe space where we can explore your needs and increase skills to allow growth and a better quality of life.

My focus

I currently provide sessions within a remote or virtual office setting. I work with clients for whom this platform is appropriate to continue to grow. This requires appropriate focus and communicative skills to gain the most from therapeutic intervention.

My approach

I utilize Cognitive-behavioral therapy, Person-Centered, and Humanistic approaches. I encourage a collaborative, tailored approach with each client based on their needs and priorities. I provide a comfortable, casual, safe space in which we can explore needs and grow skills.

My communication style

I have been described as a calming presence. Clients report feeling safe to discuss details with me without fear of judgment. I prefer to communicate with purpose and direction, so I may be direct at times. I also believe in the power of laughter and may incorporate humor.

My journey to mental healthcare

I began in community mental health services. I have worked as an Autism Specialist and provided diagnostic evaluations for potential ASD. I worked within school systems in Autism and Behavioral classrooms. I also worked as a behavioral health provider for adult male inmates with mental health disorders.

My goals for you

During the initial meeting, we will discuss concerns and goals we would like to achieve to increase fulfillment within your life. Goals may shift as skills improve. I like to challenge for individual implementation of knowledge gained within sessions. My main goal is to assist and support you until you are able to utilize skills independently.

An initial meeting is an opportunity to determine if I am the right fit for you to make progress. We will discuss current symptoms, concerns, mental health history, past experiences, whatever is necessary to develop our goals and focus for upcoming appointments.
