My communication style

My tone is supportive and caring, and I'm here to help you through difficult times. Together, we'll set goals and develop approaches to meet them. I build an accepting, trusting, and safe relationship where you can openly discuss what worries you, define behaviors, and develop the courage and self-confidence to implement new behaviors.

My journey to mental healthcare

I was a pastor and enjoyed building relationships with individuals. I came to realize I was most fulfilled in one-on-one connections rather than preaching or teaching. I transitioned from ministry to become a therapist, bringing that same commitment to walking alongside people through their challenges.

My goals for you

Goals are important because they move you forward in life. Without clear direction, it's easy to drift. Together we'll identify what matters most to you and create a roadmap to get there, celebrating progress along the way.

Our first session

The first session is very important for gathering intake information and establishing a therapeutic relationship. It's about fact-gathering and relational building. Most clients feel very comfortable after the first session and ready to begin the work ahead.
