My communication style

I am a very open-minded therapist. I am not afraid of confrontation, which is a helpful tool in therapy. I love to laugh & make others feel good about themselves. I am open to questions, thoughts, & suggestions for improvement of life quality.

My journey to mental healthcare

The reason I became a therapist is that I witnessed my maternal grandmother's mental health journey. I saw what it was like for her to be misdiagnosed, overmedicated, & not receive the proper care for her to successfully thrive in her environment.

My goals for you

I evaluate every 3 months or every 6-8 sessions to reevaluate if a client's goals are being met or not. If they are not being met by me, we will discuss other options such as referral placement and/or reassessing goals.

Our first session

The first session with me will be utilized to build rapport with my clients by learning about them & developing a better understanding of their presenting issue & how I can be helpful. If therapy is a good fit for you, we will go over & set therapy goals as well.
