I believe your mental health is just as important as your physical health. I am passionate about helping adolescents, adults, and older adults with anxiety, depression, trauma, adjustment to life changes, and managing symptoms. Together, we will work towards your goals.

My focus

I enjoy being invited to embark on a journey to health with individuals, couples, and families who experience anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, relationship stress, and grief.

My approach

I approach therapy by first getting to know you. Each person is unique and deserves to be treated with an individualized plan. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Mindfulness, or Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, as well as the Gottman Couples method, to help you reach your goals.

My communication style

I approach each client or family of clients with a tone of acceptance. Each situation is individualized, so I am able to meet you where you are at with the environment that you need.

My journey to mental healthcare

I came to be a therapist at a pivotal point in my life. With my family grown, I was ready for MY TIME! I have worked many jobs that required listening skills and often dreamed of being a therapist. I like to say, “I was called to this profession through many experiences in life.”

Our first session

Clients will hear informed consent. The client should expect to hear a quick explanation of my scope of practice, and will be asked to share why they are presenting to counseling. I will address ideation of any kind and will schedule further sessions if they would like to work with me.
