Hi there, I'm Cassidy!

I'm an LPC in GA and a LCMHC in NC. I'm honest, empathetic, yet creative and bold in therapy. I enjoy the Word of God and using it as the foundation of therapy! Creativeness is important in my practice, and I allow my clients to explore their God Given gifts and tools.

My focus

I am best positioned to help adolescents aged 13-18 and women. I have years of experience working with teenagers by focusing on self-esteem, academics, and life stressors.

My approach

Over the last 7 years of working as a therapist, I've seen & experienced everything. From children struggling in the schools to women struggling with everyday life problems, I've realized one thing that they have in common- hope. Hope is important when coming to therapy. You are hoping to feel better; you are hoping to come to become a new person.

My communication style

My communication style is kindness and truth. I believe in being honest with my clients. Working with me is having a counselor, mentor, and coach centered on Christ and his Word. I like to add the things clients enjoy to the treatment work.

My journey to mental healthcare

In 2018, I applied for a PhD program and was shocked that I did not get in. I decided to become a counselor and served as an intern at a community mental health agency. The same agency hired me, and I became a GAP therapist in the school systems.

My goals for you

I ask the clients about their goals and pursue the objectives that are placed on my heart by God and that I see in session.

Our first session

My first sessions are for building rapport, but many clients seek clarity on what's immediately happening. When this happens, I allow God and the Holy Spirit to counsel. Whether it's in me listening or providing feedback, sessions with me are fun and work through hard topics.
