My journey to mental healthcare
My personal background, passion for psychology, empathy, and compassion, and a deep understanding of mental health have all influenced my decision to become a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC). I am dedicated to making a meaningful impact on people's lives by helping them to reach their goals. Being a mental health therapist provides opportunities to give others life-changing support. I am able to offer compassion, inspire hope, and teach the skills needed to overcome challenges. I have and continue to support people of all ages with mental health issues because it is impactful and rewarding.

My first session with you
During your first session, I spent time getting to know you and what brought you into therapy. The initial session is also an opportunity to get to know me as well and determine whether it is a good fit. We will discuss your history and how your symptoms or feelings are manifesting today, and how long they have been showing up. Above all, you should expect a therapeutic environment that is compassionate, empathetic, and safe. It's my role to offer you insights into your experiences, advice on how to handle issues, and evidence-based treatment for mental health conditions.
