Angel Boyd-Gilyard

My name is Angel Boyd-Gilyard, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Everyone has the potential to make small changes that lead to big improvements in their lives. I have worked with individuals and families to connect, heal, and thrive. If you or someone you know is struggling with anxiety or depression, are having social and communication challenges, or are frustrated in their personal relationships, I can help.

My journey to mental healthcare

I became a therapist because a have the natural trait of helping people problem-solve. It drives me to see people desire to change negative behaviors or emotions after meeting me.

My goals for you

It is in the BEST interest of clients to determine their goals for therapy. I consider the client to be the experts in their lives and problems; I’m just here to give you tools to make your life more enjoyable.

My first session with you

Clients can expect a friendly nonjudgmental environment during the first session. It is my goal to establish a rapport with the client in hopes that the client will return for the 2nd session.
