My communication style

My communication style is warm, supportive, and direct. I create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can openly share your thoughts and feelings, while also providing honest feedback to help you gain insight and move forward. I balance empathy with structure, meaning I will listen and validate your experiences, but also gently challenge you.

My journey to mental healthcare

I became a therapist through my work in social services, where I saw the impact of trauma on individuals and families. I was drawn to helping people heal and grow, which led me to specialize in trauma-focused therapy and EMDR, supporting clients in creating lasting change.

My goals for you

I help clients reach their goals by breaking them down into clear, manageable steps and creating a structured plan we can track together. We identify patterns, set realistic targets, and use evidence-based approaches like CBT and EMDR to guide progress. I provide support, accountability, and practical tools so you can apply what you learn outside

Our first session

Your first session is focused on understanding you and what brings you in. We’ll discuss your concerns, background, and goals for therapy in a relaxed, structured way. There’s no pressure to share everything at once. By the end, we’ll identify key focus areas and next steps so you leave with clarity and direction.
