My communication style is purposeful, respectful, and focused entirely on the patient's well-being and growth. I integrate specific verbal and nonverbal techniques to build a strong therapeutic alliance and facilitate healing. I value genuine presence and engagement to establish a developmentally appropriate connection with the patient.

My journey to mental healthcare

My journey into becoming a provider began when I had the opportunity to work with college students. This group of young adults very often faced complex mental health conditions that limited their full potential and suppressed their resilience to life stressors. This experience solidified the crucial need for more Pediatric Mental Health providers.

My goals for you

My goal is to empower children, teens, and young adults to build resilience by incorporating symptom-specific provisional medication regimen. I utilize motivational interviewing skills and promote family-systems approach to improve communication, emotional regulation, and home/school functioning.

Our first session

During our first time together, I'll take the time to hear your story. We'll discuss what brought you in and what you're hoping to achieve. Secondly, I'll ask some specific questions to get a clear picture of your current symptoms and medical history. Based on that, we can discuss my initial impressions and work together to form a treatment plan.
