Hi there, I'm Mark!

I start by giving you time to talk while listening carefully and reflecting back what I hear until you tell me that I've got it—that I understand your suffering, your values, and what you want to change.

My focus

Areas of specialization: Adult ADHD, Cannabis Use Disorder, Drinking Moderation (only after a careful assessment), male survivors of sexual abuse or assault, mood disorders (depressive and bipolar), and schizophrenia-spectrum disorders (but only if you have, or are willing to see, a psychiatrist also).

My approach

I tailor a psychotherapeutic approach to your personality, problems, and goals. I will not know immediately what approach it will be: It is something we discover together. Your preferences, values, and beliefs matter. I have education and training in modern psychoanalytic theories like British object relations and self-psychology.
