Hello! My name is Jean Brownan; I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Clinician who values a solution-focused brief approach to therapy. My specialty includes working with clients who are experiencing anxiety, depression, or just needing help navigating life's stressful moments. In addition, I enjoy working with couples who are struggling to communicate or find their way in their relationship.
My approach
My approach includes providing tools for my clients to use after our sessions. Tools embedded in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), DBT Emotion-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, and Interpersonal Psychotherapy.
My focus
My clients describe me as an empathic, warm, good listener. Innovative, knowledgeable, and engaging. I am most comfortable treating Anxiety, Depression, Panic disorder, and grief.
My communication style
In my sessions, I will create a non-judgmental atmosphere where my clients are free to discuss what they are truly feeling or have experienced.
My journey to mental healthcare
I became a therapist in order to provide someone with the type of therapist that I searched for but did not have.

Goals are set with the client's input 100%. Create smart, attainable goals that will include action plans and timelines.
My first session with you
A warm, friendly atmosphere where they are encouraged to relax and be themselves. We will review the documentation sent before our session and the results of any baseline questionnaire completed prior to the session.
