Ken Byerly Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor interested in helping others find peace with their struggles in life. My approach is varied, depending on your needs, goals, and challenges. I will offer you empathy and trust, with a focus on goals, recovery, and progress. I believe in creating a space you feel comfortable in and encouraging you to take control of your life to bring it to a place you are proud of. I offer a client-centered approach, knowing that each person's experience is unique only to them.

My approach

I offer a client centered approach, knowing that each person's experience is unique only to them. I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches including CBT, trauma focused, reality, and solution-focused therapies.

My focus

Many of my clients struggle with relationships, have significant grief and trauma issues, and generally just need someone to talk to. They also are able to eventually share with me things they may have never told another person. I'm also used to working with a variety of disorders.

My communication style

I am soft spoken, and have been referred to as a "sweet person." However, I can become assertive when the need arises in order to drive a point across or to help you gain insight into a deficit or area of growth you are unaware of.

My journey to mental healthcare

Why do people behave the way they do? That is what interested me in becoming a therapist. Also, I love helping people and interacting with others.

My goals for you

I truly believe in setting and achieving goals in life. Without them, we tend to flounder and stagnate. It is the fuel in which we get through life. I will challenge you to sret and achieve goals.
