Hi there, I'm Karen!
I earned an MA in Christian Counseling from Columbia Evangelical Seminary in 2000 and an MA in Community Counseling from Chadron State College in 2008. Since 2012, I have been a fully licensed mental health practitioner, holding multi-state credentials in good standing.
My focus
I work with individuals and families across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, and adults navigating trauma, grief, disability-related stress, and relational challenges. My approach is inclusive, compassionate, and tailored to each client’s unique story.
My approach
My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, relational, and client-centered. I draw from CBT, mindfulness, TBRI, and psychodynamic principles, tailoring care to each client. I also integrate spirituality, expressive arts, and family systems theory to support healing and growth.
