My communication style

I believe counseling is an opportunity to examine your life, process the hurts and challenges all human beings face, and engage in meaningful dialogue to explore alternative thoughts, behaviors, and strategies. Each of us has a story with joys and sorrows that have shaped our experience.

My journey to mental healthcare

I began my journey in the seminary, then went on to study psychology and counseling. All of us as human beings need support, counsel, and guidance to manage the complexities of life. I am humbled to have had great positive guides for myself, and I hope to help others find their light.

My goals for you

Despite our challenges, personal change, though difficult, can be accomplished. The relationship between client and therapist is an important tool in supporting personal growth and change. I hope to provide a safe space for you to confidentially share, grow, and thrive through telemental health.

Our first session

Initial sessions provide an opportunity to learn about your history: your family of origin, what it was like growing up, where you were educated, your work and family history, a review of medical and mental health issues, your goals for sessions, and how often you'd like to meet. The goal is to get to know you and work on what's important to you.
