Hi there, I'm Christala!

I am a dual board-certified psychiatric mental health and family nurse practitioner. I am currently licensed to practice in the state of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. I specialize in depression, anxiety, panic disorder, sleep issues, trauma-related disorders, Adhd, Autism, and mood disorders.

My focus

I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults. I have close to 29 years of total nursing experience, close to 18 of those as a nurse practitioner working in various settings, providing services to clients along the lifespan.

My communication style

I like to produce a personable, individualized, calm, and nonjudgmental environment. I like my patients to feel we are a team working together towards their goals.

My goals for you

Discussing and determining what the patient feels is of importance in their lives, what they want to work on, and outcomes they are hoping for, exploring their motivation and willingness in taking action steps towards their stated goals.

Our first session

Introductions, discussing past psych mental health history, as well as family history, medical histories for patient/family, discussing past and current medications and past treatments, possible screenings, and request for bloodwork, diagnostics as necessary. Referrals may also be recommended and suggested.
