My communication style is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I create a safe, affirming space where you feel comfortable being honest and comfortable. Sessions are structured yet flexible. I balance clinical insight with compassion, encouraging open communication, curiosity, and shared decision-making.

My journey to mental healthcare

My journey was rooted in a deep desire to help others feel seen, heard, and supported. I was drawn to mental health after witnessing some of our clients commit suicide after being diagnosed with HIV (they are mostly sex workers, LGBTQIA, and PWDs) in Africa. I want to create that space where someone feels genuinely understood.

My goals for you

I approach goal setting as a collaborative and personalized process. Together, we identify what matters most to you, whether it's improving daily functioning, reducing specific symptoms, or enhancing overall quality of life. I help break larger goals into manageable steps, ensuring they are realistic, measurable, and aligned with your values.

Our first session

You can expect a warm, welcoming, judgment-free environment where we begin building a foundation of trust. I'll conduct a thorough evaluation, discussing current concerns, history, lifestyle factors, and any past treatment experiences. My goal is to understand the whole person, not just the symptoms.
