Latasha Walker, LCPC — Therapist in Las Vegas, Nevada

Hi there, I'm Latasha!

Are you experiencing burnout, struggling with work-life balance, or life obstacles? I help clients navigate anxiety, depression, self-criticism, low self-esteem, and life transitions. My goal is to help you feel more confident, self-accepting, and resilient. I am also passionate about helping others gain awareness about their life purpose.

My focus

Struggling with anxiety or depression? I work with teens and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, and self-esteem challenges. We work together to build coping skills, increase resilience, and create a plan for healing or growth.

My approach

I take a holistic, trauma-informed, and client-centered approach in treatment. I consider the impact of mental health on the the whole body system. I use mindfulness practices and my intuitive skills to help clients gain a deeper understanding of their experiences and behaviors.

My communication style

I encourage clear, open communication in a non-judgmental environment. My calm demeanor and warmth are used to ensure an easy flow of communication in session.

My journey to mental healthcare

My interest in understanding relationships and human behavior moved me to explore this field. Then later my own journey of healing and spiritual growth inspired me to go forward with this career path. I believe this profession is a calling and not just a career.

My goals for you

I aim to inspire and motivate my clients to become the change agents in their life. I provide a space for growth and self-exploration so my clients can leave empowered and hopeful for change.

Our first session

In my first session I access the client's needs, history, goals, and strengths. I encourage people to be open about their experiences and what internal strengths that can help us with therapy work. I warmly introduce myself and the importance of working together through the therapy process.
