My journey to mental healthcare

My journey to becoming a therapist is deeply personal. Much of my early life was shaped by mistrust of healthcare systems, especially as a gay man who often felt unseen in clinical spaces. That mistrust became a motivator—I wanted to understand the disconnect between people's lived experiences and the care they were receiving, and help change it.

My goals for you

I approach goal-setting as a collaborative and evolving process, rooted in both self-discovery and measurable progress. We co-create goals that are both meaningful and manageable, often breaking larger aspirations into clear, actionable steps. I make sure your goals reflect your authentic self, not just societal expectations.

Our first session

Our first session is about connection and comfort. I focus on creating a safe, judgment-free space where you can show up as you are. We'll talk about what brings you to therapy and what you hope to gain. I'll ask questions to understand your background and concerns, and I encourage you to ask about my approach and share preferences.
