My focus

I love working with Multicultural individuals, Veterans, and women's issues. I am most comfortable treating depression, bipolar, addiction recovery, and work-related stress.

My approach

I am trained in many approaches, but I mostly use CBT, ACT, DBT, and 12-Step Recovery work.

My communication style

Since I have a trauma-focused background, I like for my clients to feel they are having a conversation with me in my living room.

My journey to mental healthcare

I believe that the field of Social Work is more of a calling than a job. I have a gift of objectivity that assists people in seeing themselves clearly. I have the ability to ask questions that promote deeper thought in individuals.

My goals for you

I approach goal setting by using a Values assessment, which indicates the client's priorities. We discuss the priorities, identify the barriers, and identify goals that we achieve.
