Hi there, I'm Melanie!

Serving underrepresented patients is my passion, and improving mental health care access to all communities has always been my top priority.

My focus

I have provided efficient and culturally competent care to patients regardless of race, gender, or sexual orientation. I have experience dealing with conditions such as depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and neurodivergence.

I prefer to use a more personable and humanistic approach to mental healthcare, taking into consideration the entire presentation of the patient.

I aim to create a warm and welcoming environment for my patients, and hope that those I treat feel safe opening up under my care!

My journey to mental healthcare

I began my career working on a psychiatric adolescent unit. I then went on to receive a degree while working as a charge nurse at a newly designed inpatient facility. I now work in the mental health field. Helping patients reach a place of stability and understanding in their own mental health treatment drives me to do this work!

Our first session

During our first session, we will complete a mental health initial evaluation, which will help determine if we are a good fit for each other and discuss treatment options and goals.
