My journey to mental healthcare

I realized my calling was as a mental health therapist as I know first hand the benefits of mental health therapy. When I was a child, due to many hospitalizations I developed severe trauma which resulted in developing complete mutism. I credit my recovery to a wonderful child psychiatrist who used play therapy to help me to recover.

My goals for you

The goal-setting process is a collaborative effort. While you are the expert on your own life and values, my role is to help you define and structure your aspirations into achievable steps. We will regularly review and adjust these goals as needed, as it is a dynamic process and your needs may evolve.

Our first session

During a first therapy session, clients can expect to be asked questions about their background, what brought them to therapy, and their goals, while also having the opportunity to ask their own questions to ensure a good fit. It is a foundational session for both the client and therapist to get to know each other.
