As a therapist, I seek to empower my clients to pursue the life and relationships they value the most. I have a background in alternative health, and I value an approach that integrates physical health, relationships, medical and non-medical approaches, and self-empowerment.
My focus
I specialize in treating couples and anxiety, working with adults and older teens struggling with anxiety & panic attacks, OCD-related challenges, pregnancy/postpartum struggles and birth trauma, addiction, past sexual assault and/or abuse, relationship conflicts and difficulties, and life transitions.
My approach
I use and teach emotion regulation strategies, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness skills, cognitive approaches from CBT, DBT, and ACT, and gradual exposure therapies with individuals. With couples and relationship work, I use the Gottman Method, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and awareness of attachment principles.
