I work with adults from various backgrounds and cultures seeking to improve their quality of life. I support people addressing childhood traumas and their current impact, adapting to life changes and identity shifts, and exploring unhelpful thinking patterns that prevent positive change.

My approach

I am trained in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) as well as versed in acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), motivational interviewing, and am trauma-focused.

My communication style

I believe that the rapport between the therapist and client is the most important factor, and so I strive to be authentically myself and offer a space where you can too!

My journey to mental healthcare

I wanted to be able to provide the support that I could have used when I was younger, and I want to be able to give people the agency to improve their lives by recognizing their thoughts which can keep them stuck.

I think that setting a goal is helpful in treatment as it can be powerful to be able to recognize when you meet your desired outcome.
