My focus
If you are currently struggling with anxiety and depression and feeling overwhelmed, life can seem impossible some moments. I would like to help you learn coping skills to help navigate through all of those daily stressors one step at a time. The most difficult part can be coming up with a plan and executing it, starting small and building is key.
My approach
In sessions I mostly utilize CBT and DBT. CBT can be a great way to help clients recognize unhealthy negative thinking patterns and to be able to reframe their thoughts to be more positive. DBT helps people learn how to live more in the moment to decrease anxiety and stress through different mindfulness and relaxation techniques.
