Hi there, I'm Alicia!

I am a combat veteran and therapist. After graduating I worked at a local hospital and had a thriving private practice specializing in at-risk adolescent therapy. I joined the US Army where I was privileged to be a Soldier and a therapist. I continued to work in the same capacity as a civilian until I left to begin a private practice.

My focus

I typically work with individuals who are motivated to move past their past and learning new skills to assist with everyday stress, to cope with life-changing events. I am an expert in treating trauma, as well as anxiety, depression, as well as a wide variety of behavioral health issues.

My approach

I utilize evidence-based treatment, specializing in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) as well as others (CPT, CPT-i, PE, CBT) to work through life experiences that have shaped negative thought patterns in order to move towards a more positive thought process.
