My journey to mental healthcare

My path to becoming a mental health care provider was shaped by my natural ability to listen deeply and empathize with others. I've found that people feel comfortable opening up to me, stating that they feel seen, heard, and supported. I recognized that these are skills that would be valuable as a provider.

My goals for you

Goal setting is a collaborative effort. On your end, it would be a matter of figuring out what is important for you to accomplish and how it would benefit your mental health. My responsibility is to guide you on how to accomplish the goal and provide a framework for navigating potential challenges.

Our first session

The first session will be a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation where we discuss your current concerns and past experiences. The evaluation will include questions about your presenting symptoms and how they are impacting your level of functioning. At the end of the first session, I will share with you what my recommendation would be for treatment.
