I have additional certification in Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I primarily work with mood disorders, personality disorders, LGBTQ populations, and life adjustments and transitions.

My focus

Any mood disorders (depression/anxiety, bipolar, etc.), personality disorders, LGBTQ, neurodivergence, and anyone just really going through it.

My approach

If you've tried traditional therapy in the past and have found it unhelpful, I'm likely the counselor for you. I provide a unique approach that balances pragmatic realism with existential philosophy, all while sprinkling in DBT, CBT, and Jungian clinical techniques.

My communication style

I would imagine talking to me is like talking to a real person who just so happens to have an inordinate amount of knowledge on mental health and applicable creative problem-solving skills.

I use explicit and implicit knowledge. I will straight up ask you what you want from this process, and infer the details based on your presenting problem.

We are going to dive right in. The goal is information gathering in a snapshot fashion. What brings you here? After that, I'll facilitate the rest. I will be asking a lot of questions--so please know it's ok to not know the answers to everything that's discussed.
