My communication style

I provide a warm, confidential, non-judgmental, peaceful, and comfortable environment for the patient. I encourage the patient to share feedback as a means to help me improve on their experience. I encourage open communication with honesty and straightforwardness.

The need to provide access to a population that is underserved and stigmatized, and to change the status quo.

My goals for you

Goals are simple, measurable, attainable, and realistic with a timeframe. Goals are reevaluated and readjusted according to patients' responses. The patient is always an integral part of goal setting.

Our first session

The first session is where we get to know each other, roles and policies are explained, and when and how to contact me are explained. We get into the initial evaluation, which is an in-depth information-gathering session to gather as much information as needed to formulate diagnoses and treatment plans.
