Hi there, I'm Brian!

As a clinical counselor with over 19 years of experience, I am dedicated to helping my clients find hope and overcome life's challenges. Through a collaborative, strength-based approach, I strive to create a supportive environment where growth and healing can occur.

My approach

My therapeutic approach is person-centered, meeting clients where they are in life and providing the support and guidance needed to effectively address personal challenges. I work collaboratively with my clients, emphasizing their strengths and fostering a sense of hope as they navigate difficult times.

My focus

I have experience working with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults from various backgrounds. My areas of specialty include anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, dual diagnosis, family conflict, life coaching, marital/pre-marital counseling, spirituality, psychosis, stress, and thought disorders.

My communication style

Communication is key in the therapeutic process. I strive to create an open, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and understood. Through active listening and empathetic dialogue, we work together to identify goals, explore options, and develop practical strategies for positive change.

My journey to mental healthcare

My journey in mental healthcare began with a deep desire to help others. With a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from Ohio University and a Master's in Counseling, I recognize the powerful connection between physical and mental well-being. This holistic perspective informs my work, as I educate clients on how incorporating exercise into the counseling process can positively impact mental health.

My goals for you

My ultimate goal is to empower you with the tools, insights, and self-awareness needed to overcome challenges, build resilience, and lead a fulfilling life. Whether you are seeking support for anxiety, relationship issues, or personal growth, I am committed to walking alongside you on your journey towards improved mental health and well-being.

My first session with you

During our first session, we will take the time to get to know one another and discuss your unique needs and goals. This is an opportunity for you to share your story, ask questions, and get a sense of my therapeutic style. Together, we will begin to develop a personalized treatment plan that aligns with your values, strengths, and aspirations.
