I am friendly and informal in my communication style and try to make everyone I see feel welcome and accepted, regardless of their circumstances or background. Your concerns and preferences about how we work together will be respected and encouraged.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have always been interested in human nature, even before I considered mental healthcare as a career. I made a midlife career change to become a therapist after a variety of other work experiences. I feel this has helped me become a more open-minded and effective counselor than I might have been otherwise.

My goals for you

My goal is to see you have a more fulfilling and rewarding life based on your own choices. I also enjoy people developing their creative potential and confidence.

Our first session

When I first meet with you, I will try to get a sense of what challenges you may face and collaborate with you to develop goals and strategies to help you arrive at the life you choose for yourself.
