My communication style

Life is serious and at times difficult, which is why I like to make sessions comfortable and even fun. The more we learn to laugh at ourselves and our problems, the less stress and anxiety we feel. I am open, honest, and direct with a sense of humor. I never judge. I lift you up, point out your strengths, and encourage you to reach your goals.

My journey to mental healthcare

I experienced abuse as a child, which led me to want to protect children. A desire to help people find their authentic selves and live their purpose keeps me going as a therapist.

My goals for you

Goal setting is important to break through stagnation. We will get to know each other, your likes and dislikes, your dreams and desires for sessions and your future. What do you want to accomplish with therapy and where do you see yourself once completed?

Our first session

During the first session, it's a get-to-know-each-other situation. I'll ask questions that will allow me to determine how best to help you. I'll allow you to ask me questions as well. Nothing to fear.
