Building a supportive relationship is key to my approach to therapy. Once we establish a strong alliance, I want my clients to feel accepted and safe to talk about anything on their minds or that they are going through or have gone through. I want them to know that I am here to support them on their journeys of self-discovery.
My focus
I work with clients who have codependency issues, relationship difficulties, and family conflicts. I support clients who struggle to take care of themselves in relationships and tend to lose themselves in intimate relationships.
My approach
I use a person-centered strength-based approach combined with solution-focused therapy. I encourage clients to take good care of themselves (physically, emotionally, spiritually) and to focus on putting good things in their lives (such as hobbies, friendships, a career they enjoy, fun, adventures, sports, nature).
