I’m a clinical social worker deeply committed to serving BIPOC and Alaska Native communities through culturally responsive, trauma-informed care. I currently serve as a clinician in Southeast Alaska. Our work together is about finding your way back to yourself. In each session, we’ll make space for softness, for honesty, for breathing room.

We often become stuck in circumstances and in our own minds, which can cause significant distress and erode our sense of self. I grew up in a Latino family, surrounded by military members, and spent summers with my mom on communes in Oregon. This gave me a wide understanding of humankind. I am a clinical supervisor/counselor whose focus includes trauma, healing the inner child, changing survival skills to thrive skills, inner critic ninja skills, and freedom from shame.

I provide mental health treatment to youth and families utilizing Play Therapy, Collaborative Problem Solving, Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, trauma-informed therapy, and crisis intervention.

I studied at Boise State University where I obtained a Master’s degree in Social Work with a focus on working with marginalized communities. I am a licensed clinical social worker, and I am also certified in mediation.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with seasoned experience in every level of mental healthcare. I have worked in community mental health, crisis counseling, inpatient settings and Intensive Outpatient programs with extensive experience treating depression, anxiety, trauma and problems in relationships.
