My communication style

I always strive for kindness, compassion, and respect. The therapeutic process is a partnership, and I want to hear your feedback so I can support you how YOU need. I am a human as well and always learning. I also value transparency and clarity, often incorporating examples and visuals to support clients in understanding concepts.

My journey to mental healthcare

Growing up, I wanted to be many things: a teacher, a writer, a nurse. I knew I wanted to create, and I knew I wanted to help people. I've found that through social work, I can use my creativity to help others explore and understand themselves. I've been fortunate to work in schools and outpatient settings, supporting people across age and identity.

My goals for you

Goals set the stage for therapy. I hope you come to therapy with a goal/goals in mind. In our therapeutic partnership, we'll clarify, strengthen, and break down your goal into smaller goals that feel attainable.

Our first session

In our first session, we'll go over expectations, define goals, and what brings you to therapy-- as deeply as you are open to going. I will respect the pace that feels best for you. It is your time to see if I am a good fit for you as a therapist, as therapy is not a "one size fits all." I hope to foster a space that feels welcoming and safe.
