Hi there, I'm Kenya!

Feeling overwhelmed by all the ideas, rules, and expectations about how to live? Maybe it’s time to embark on a journey of self-discovery. This could support you in building confidence in who you are and how you want to live your life, on your own terms, not someone else’s.

My focus

I usually find it helpful to work with clients who are willing to chat and explore their own growth. I aim to create a welcoming and non-judgmental environment where clients feel comfortable sharing, processing their thoughts, and getting feedback that can support them in achieving their goals and improve their well-being and quality of life.

My approach

I believe our thoughts impact how we feel and behave; they can take us away from being in the moment. Therefore, I incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). I also understand the level of distress some experience when they decide to engage in therapy, therefore I employ solution focus therapy as well.
