I help clients navigate stress, anxiety, relationship issues, grief, and challenges with motivation and self-esteem. My focus

I work with clients experiencing grief and loss from the end of a relationship or the death of a loved one. Many want help working through a specific situation causing distress or anxiety but don't know the path forward. I'm skilled at helping clients recognize patterns in their lives that are no longer serving them.

My approach

I employ Cognitive Behavioral techniques and mindfulness to interrupt intrusive or racing thoughts. My approach is solution-focused and tailored to your goals. I value humor as a strength as we navigate this wild world together.

My communication style

I am a transparent and direct communicator. I will not shy away from difficult conversations with you. If you are willing to be open and honest with me, I believe it's important I offer you the same. I use humor when appropriate, as bringing levity to tough situations can be a huge stress reliever.

My journey to mental healthcare

I cannot imagine myself in any other profession because I firmly believe my purpose is to alleviate as much suffering as I can. What I recognized is that most people never learn how to communicate adequately when they are in states of escalation or conflict. Therapy has been a way to guide people into having difficult but profound conversations.

My goals for you

I am direct with clients around setting their goals. The goals are fluid and living, however, and I will often check in during our work together to take a pulse of how you think your progress is going or if we need to take a new approach.

Our first session

The first session is a getting to know one another session. You'll be able to ask any questions you have of me, and I will begin to ask you about your goals and any pertinent information for beginning our work together. We will be able to determine if we are a fit for one another, and it's completely okay if we aren't.
