Hi there, I'm Belindy!

I'm an Oregon Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I provide compassionate, trauma-focused therapy for adults facing anxiety, depression, grief, substance use, major life changes, or the effects of difficult experiences. You do not have to carry everything alone.

My focus

I work with adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or weighed down by trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, substance use, relationship challenges, or major transitions. I especially welcome Indigenous clients, veterans, and people affected by incarceration or reentry.

My approach

My approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, culturally responsive, and collaborative. I draw from CBT, motivational interviewing, solution-focused, narrative, attachment-based, and mindfulness approaches, tailoring care to your needs, values, culture, and pace.

My communication style

My style is warm, direct, respectful, and down-to-earth. I listen without judgment, explain things in clear language, and welcome honest feedback. I will gently challenge patterns that may be holding you back while ensuring you feel heard, safe, and supported.

My journey to mental healthcare

My path began with psychology and led to clinical social work through my work in crisis services and veteran support, along with training in addiction recovery and trauma. These experiences inspired me to help people feel truly heard, heal with dignity, and regain hope.

My goals for you

We will identify what matters most to you, turn it into realistic and measurable goals, and choose practical steps that fit your life. We will regularly review your progress, recognize your strengths, adjust what is not working, and build skills you can use between sessions.

Our first session

Our first session is a relaxed conversation about what brought you to therapy, what you have been experiencing, what is important to you, and what you hope will change. I will explain how therapy works, answer your questions, and begin developing a plan with you at a pace that feels manageable.
