My communication style

My style is conversational and not a good fit for clients seeking rigid, curriculum-based treatment. I draw on life experiences, common sense, and acceptance for what cannot be controlled to construct a framework of communication that is honest, direct, and empathetic.

My journey to mental healthcare

Through various life experiences and career pathways, I determined I was drawn to understanding people more completely. I sought to understand why individuals do what they do, what constructs how they think, and how they can remove self-imposed barriers to greater fulfillment.

My goals for you

I'm in a position to listen to what you wish to pursue and hope to achieve. Your objectives drive our collaborative process, and I reflect an approach that supports gradual and incremental change. Meaningful change should be effectively measured, attainable, and sustainable.

During our first session, we'll discuss your background, goals, and presenting concerns. We'll establish a culture of how we'll work together. My approach is strengths-based, positivity-forward, and hopeful. I hope you feel optimism to move forward in our work.
