My communication style

My style is warm, down-to-earth, and active. I will not simply sit back, nod, and expect you to figure everything out alone. I listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, offer honest feedback, and make room for humor, emotion, practical problem-solving, and difficult conversations.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have always been drawn to the moment when someone finally feels safe enough to say what they have been carrying. More than 10 years in school, home, community, and behavioral health settings have shown me how powerful it can be to feel genuinely understood, and that continues to drive my work as a therapist.

My goals for you

We will start by identifying what you want to feel differently in your everyday life; not just what you want to stop feeling. Together, we will turn that into realistic, meaningful goals and revisit them as therapy unfolds. Goals are collaborative and flexible because your needs may become clearer as we work together.

Our first session

We will talk about what brought you in, what you hope will change, and what has or has not helped before. I will guide the conversation, answer questions, and help us identify a manageable starting point for our work together.
