Hi there, I'm Angela!

I specialize in helping treat anxiety, stress, depression, postpartum depression, relationship issues, family issues, parenting issues, anger management, and increasing self-esteem.

My focus

The types of clients I work with are mostly females, ranging from their teens to adults, including single, married, and those with children. I also see a lot of clients seeking ways to cope with stress and anxiety while managing a home and work life.

My approach

I implement Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help my clients identify awareness of negative and irrational thought patterns and create a healthier way of thinking. Christian counseling is also a specialty of mine while I take a holistic approach to therapy by balancing physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness.

My communication style

My biggest skill is building rapport with my clients. I am very down to earth and create a warm, comfortable atmosphere with empathy and passion. My clients feel comfortable quickly in the therapy setting.

My journey to mental healthcare

I care deeply about people and desire to make a difference in people's lives which is why I chose to be a therapist. If I can impact someone's life for the better, a rippling effect may occur from that person causing more lives to be impacted in a positive way.

My goals for you

I talk with my clients about setting goals in the first session. I am very goal-oriented so that my clients feel they have something they are working towards and seeing progress with. We start with small, attainable goals before tackling larger ones.

During the first session, I will complete an intake which will gather background information about the client including mental health history, health history, family history, reason for treatment, goals, and interests.
