My journey to mental healthcare

I started as a social worker in nursing homes, helping residents and their families with psychosocial needs. I realized I most loved the one-to-one counseling piece of my work. I went on to work with adults in psychiatric programs, community mental health centers, and substance use treatment centers.

My goals for you

We will decide together what your treatment goals are. Along the course of your therapy, we'll discuss the approaches I'm using to address the challenges that brought you here and the progress you're making along the way.

Our first session

In our first session, I'll conduct an Intake Assessment. I'll ask questions about what brought you to counseling, your relationships, and your biopsychosocial background. I'll answer any questions you have about what your therapy will look like and explain confidentiality and my cancellation policy.
