Hi there, I'm Elizabeth!

I have over thirty years of experience providing counseling and therapy services to adults of all ages and backgrounds. I'm trained in a variety of therapeutic interventions, including EMDR for trauma.

I work with adults and couples of all ages and backgrounds. I'm experienced in guiding you through the therapy process in a way that both supports and challenges when necessary, so you can make the progress you're seeking.

I provide a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental space for us to address your challenges together. I tailor your therapy to your unique concerns and use the interventions best suited to you. I'll support you as we create a treatment plan to address what's keeping you from moving forward.

My journey to mental healthcare

I started as a social worker in nursing homes, helping residents and their families with psychosocial needs. I realized I most loved the one-to-one counseling piece of my work. I went on to work with adults in psychiatric programs, community mental health centers, and substance use treatment centers.

We will decide together what your treatment goals are. Along the course of your therapy, we'll discuss the approaches I'm using to address the challenges that brought you here and the progress you're making along the way.

Our first session

In our first session, I'll conduct an Intake Assessment. I'll ask questions about what brought you to counseling, your relationships, and your biopsychosocial background. I'll answer any questions you have about what your therapy will look like and explain confidentiality and my cancellation policy.
