Hi there, I'm Lavon!

I am passionate about supporting my clients through challenges to restore balance in their lives.

My focus

I targeted populations of care, including children and adolescents with ADHD and behavioral issues. Adult clients with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, PTSD, OCD, ADD/ADHD, and anger management, as well as having a specialized focus on the veteran and elderly populations, who need mental health treatment.

My approach

I take a holistic client-centered approach that treats the whole person, body, mind, and spirit. I often use CBT, brief therapy, and holistic approaches in my practice.

My communication style

My goal is to provide a safe, nurturing, nonjudgmental space for clients to face their challenges and foster a sense of peace, balance, and joy in their lives.

My journey to mental healthcare

My mental health career began while I was serving in the military. I had the opportunity to help soldiers and their families heal and restore balance in their lives. I love helping others. I truly believe it was a calling.

Our first session

I would assess your symptoms and explore what brought you to therapy. I will complete a medication assessment during the initial session. I may prescribe psychiatric medication, recommend therapy, or both, which will be discussed in the session. We will discuss and decide the most appropriate ways to help you progress.
