Hi there, I'm Stacy!
I believe everyone can heal from trauma, solve problems, and improve their lives. I help people of all ages find solutions, learn skills, set goals, and manage emotions related to trauma and stress. I've helped clients with depression, anxiety, PTSD, relationship issues, anger management, and parenting challenges.
My focus
I have extensive experience with military families, couples, individuals with mental health diagnoses, at-risk youth with severe behavioral challenges, and teaching early childhood development and parenting strategies. I also provide equine-assisted therapy to treatment-level foster care youth and families.
My approach
A good working relationship is essential for successful therapy. You're the expert on your life; I guide you and teach skills to overcome challenges. I work non-judgmentally to build trust. I use client-centered, motivational interviewing, CBT, psychodynamic, IFS, mindfulness, and solution-focused techniques.
