Hi there, I'm Valerie!

I use a solution-focused approach to therapy. I believe you are the expert in your own life; my role is to support you in exploring and discovering insights and solutions. My focus areas of practice are women's needs, life transitions, grief, and loss.

My focus

I generally work with women who are navigating life transitions and changes; grief and loss, and trauma a common themes in the lives of women, so using a trauma-informed embodied approach is foundational to my work.

My approach

I'm trained in CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care. I have advanced training in nature-based therapy and ecotherapy. I use a person-centered approach supported by a trauma-informed and culturally respectful perspective.
