My communication style

My communication style is warm and friendly, using a storytelling approach. All of us hold stories that can provide insights and solutions to our understanding of who we are in the world. Working with me feels safe, comfortable, and supportive.

My journey to mental healthcare

I grew up in a family of teachers, nurses, and clergy, so supporting people is in my lineage. I value working with people at crucial life points where decisions have a big impact. Being human is a complex, lifelong journey; it is an honor to work with individuals at various points in their work towards wholeness and a life well lived.

My goals for you

I provide support and feedback so clients can identify goals and areas to work on in therapy. I trust the client is the expert on their life and knows where they want to focus.

Our first session

During the first session, we'll collect information and then work together to identify the areas to focus on. I'll provide information about my expertise and the length of time we may work together; answering questions and clarifying expectations related to the therapeutic process will also be reviewed.
