Hi there, I'm Christopher!

I work with mental health, trauma, and abuse issues. My approach is person-centered with choice theory, creating space for healing and growth through understanding your unique experiences.

My focus

I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adult clients. I have also been privileged to work with families and couples. I typically will work with adults with the various issues that life offers.

My approach

I use evidence-based treatment models to ensure each person receives an individual plan of care. Using talk therapy and choice theories has assisted others in continuing to heal and learn from the past.

My communication style

I feel that the relationship with a client is the most important part of therapy. I strive to ensure that I provide a very relaxed and inviting atmosphere. I am very honest and blunt with my thoughts, offering continual open and honest feedback. Expect to have a conversation, not a one-sided you talk, and I'll listen to the type of session.

My journey to mental healthcare

Helping people seems like it has always been a part of my life. In high school, I volunteered for Muscular Dystrophy Camp through college and learned the value that a few moments and a few kind words can help change someone's life.

My goals for you

Goals are continual. Identifying the issues that bring someone to therapy is the first step. Then, making a plan of action to address those issues is the fun part.

Our first session

Usually, a decent getting-to-know-you session and alignment of those values and ideas. I'm a friendly person, but I'm not here to be your friend. I'm not a therapist for everyone. I will set expectations, as expectations are asked of me as well.
