Jarodd is a licensed professional counselor in Louisiana and Texas. He received his Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy / Counseling from The University of Louisiana Monroe in 2014.
My approach
My theoretical orientation is eclectic in nature, integrating concepts from Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. I use a combination of techniques from these theories to provide individualized treatment tailored to each client's unique needs.
My focus
I focus on providing therapy to individuals. My specialties include ADHD, Antisocial Personality, Anxiety, Career Counseling, Coping Skills, Cultural Stress, Family Conflict, Job Stress, Life Transitions, Marital/Pre-marital issues, Parenting, Racial Trauma, Men's Issues, and Sports Performance.

I believe that open and respectful communication can change the world. In my practice, I aim to foster an environment of understanding and growth through clear, honest dialogue with my clients.
My journey to mental healthcare
My journey into mental healthcare began with obtaining my Masters of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy / Counseling from the University of Louisiana at Monroe from 2012 to 2014. I then completed my clinical hours for licensure between 2018 and 2020 at Wellpath in Monroe, Louisiana and The Center for Children and Families in Rayville, Louisiana. This experience provided me with extensive knowledge and resources that I bring to my practice today.
