Hi there, I'm Robert!

I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas since 2020. Over the course of my career, I have worked in jails, behavioral health hospitals, and private clinics. My goal as a therapist is to empower my clients by showing them how to utilize coping skills and techniques that they will learn throughout treatment.

My focus

I work with clients from diverse backgrounds dealing with anxiety, depression, and trauma.

My approach

I like to take a cognitive behavioral approach with clients where we learn to implement techniques and coping skills to restructure thoughts that factor both emotions and rationality. I have used techniques from dialectical, behavioral therapy, narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and person-centered theory.
