My communication style

I'm told I'm easy to talk with, and others find it easy to share personal struggles and concerns. I'm conversational and like to mix listening, talking, reflecting, and processing. I'm serious about the work I do and love to see you find relief and progress in therapy.

My journey to mental healthcare

I've always felt my maturity allows me to appreciate work that takes such courage and vulnerability. I am naturally curious about your life and care about your well-being. It is my pleasure and joy to work with all sorts of people, and I love the variety, flexibility, and opportunity to join you in creating positive changes.

My goals for you

Goal setting is based on symptoms you present, diagnostics, and then collaboration to set both short and long-term goals. We'll often revisit treatment planning and goals after certain intervals, such as the fifth week, tenth week, and so on.

Our first session

I like to spend time getting to know you and casually checking in to see what brought you to therapy at this point. I'll cover confidentiality, how online therapy works, and what happens if there are internet connection drops. I'll ask about your goals, gather intake information, and offer initial strategies for reducing symptoms.
